Vermouth
Vermouth
We have always loved vermouth, and years ago had the opportunity to learn more about the process from Shawn at Marrow Vermouth, who shared our winery space for some time. We even tapped him for knowledge on this vermouth, which is inspired by the easy drinking Spanish “Vermut Rojo”. The base wine is made from plums, elderberries, apples and Riesling, which co-fermented and then aged for 4 years in neutral barrels. Botanicals include gentian, sarsaparilla, cinnamon, star anise, clove, bitter orange peel, orange flowers, lavender, and rose petals. To sweeten, we used organic Demerara and cane sugar, and to fortify, we used grappa from Maple Leaf Spirits in Naramata.
16.5% abv/vol. Drink chilled on ice, with a twist of orange
Shipping Rates:
With the surging prices of fuel, shipping costs have risen dramatically. We apologize if the rates appear expensive. We are trying to keep the prices as low as we can, covering about half the cost:
3 bottle minimum in B.C. and 6 bottle minimum across Canada (sorry, it is simply cost-prohibitive to send less than 6 bottles)
British Columbia: $25 flat rate per order
Across Canada (excluding Newfoundland/Labradour, Northwest Territories, Yukon and Nunavut): $25-40 for 6-12 bottles
Notes: Additional fees may apply for remote areas (we recommend contacting us prior to ordering to arrange it). Unfortunately, wine cannot be shipped to Northwest Territories, Yukon and Nunavut, and may not be available for other remote areas
Shipping Policy:
You must be 19+ years of age to order
We use temperature controlled shipping to ensure the wines arrive safely, however, this option may not be available for some remote areas
We recommend having the wine shipped to a business address whenever possible as wine deliveries typically occur during business hours and must be signed for.
We will be working hard to get your orders to you as soon as possible. We are a very small team so it may take us up to a week to prepare all the orders for shipment.
Storage: Wines can be sensitive to warm temperatures. Please store in a cool and dark place (10-15 degrees C)
