2022 Syrah (V1)

2022 Syrah (V1)

CA$36.00

The grapes were farmed regeneratively at our Scout Vineyard in the Similkameen Valley. De-stemmed into qvevri where it wild fermented for 10-14 days until dry. Pressed off gently, back into qvevri for 10 months and then neutral barrels for another 12 months. 10 PPM total S02 added. Unfiltered, unfined. This vintage was cooler at the start, leading to some slightly higher acids and brighter fruit, but with some aging, the wine is showing more of it’s savoury side, with some classic black olive, cured meat and umami notes.

12.8% alc/vol. Drink at Cellar Temp.

Shipping Rates:

With the surging prices of fuel, shipping costs have risen dramatically. We apologize if the rates appear expensive. We are trying to keep the prices as low as we can:

  • 3 bottle minimum (approx. $84)

  • British Columbia: $30 flat rate per order

  • Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec: $50 Flat Rate per order

  • New Brunswick, PEI, Nova Scotia: $60 Flat Rate per order.

  • Notes: Shipping companies are charging $50-$80 to ship to most provinces, and even more to the territories and remote areas. Additional fees may apply for remote areas (we recommend contacting us prior to ordering to arrange it). Unfortunately, wine cannot be shipped to Northwest Territories, Yukon and Nunavut, and may not be available for other remote areas.

Shipping Policy:

  • You must be 19+ years of age to order

  • We use temperature controlled shipping to ensure the wines arrive safely, however, this option may not be available for some remote areas

  • We recommend having the wine shipped to a business address whenever possible as wine deliveries typically occur during business hours and must be signed for.

  • We will be working hard to get your orders to you as soon as possible. We are a very small team so it may take us up to a week to prepare all the orders for shipment.

Storage: Wines can be sensitive to warm temperatures. Please store in a cool and dark place (10-15 degrees C).
